Charles Schwab - Mt. Kisco
Structural design of new 8,000 SF, asymmetrical, 2-story building located in Mount Kisco, NY.
The project consisted of the structural design of a new approximately 8,000 square foot, asymmetrical, 2-story building located on the corner of South Moger Avenue.
The structural framing consists of structural steel columns, beams and girders with a composite slab on metal deck second floor framing. The lateral system is comprised of steel moment frames. The roof structure is steel framing and metal roof deck. The foundations are cast-in-place concrete grade beams, pile caps, and structural slab spanning to the pile caps and grade beams. Cuono Engineering redesigned the foundations along the north wall of the new building to accommodate previously unknown conditions at the exterior of the adjacent structure that abutted the property line on the site.
