Angel Curillo, P.E.

Project Engineer

With over 8 years of structural design experience, Angel lends his expertise in renovation and new residential construction with residential concrete, steel, and wood framing.

Angel originally became an engineer originally because he loves seeing structures come to life, but the best part of his job is to help see the clients' visions come alive as it relates to structure. He loves being able to collaborate with different trades and learn something every time.

The investigating phase in how structures are framed is particularly of interest to him since the scope is typically to eliminate members (i.e. walls). He finds it challenging and enjoyable trying to figure out what needs to be done to maintain the structural stability while cooperating with the client's vision. It is definitely no wonder that he most enjoys working on residential renovation projects, displaying the ability and importance of having a functional and sound structure for his clients.

In his spare time, you'll likely find Angel outdoors, hiking and spending time with his family.

Angel's Favorite Projects and Why:

Typically we are the last ones in the project from the design phase and the first out in field during construction. I have enjoyed working with any of the projects that allow us to be part of the team from beginning so we can implement our framing and support elements during the design phase so we design an efficient structure.
