Project Scope

This project consisted of a complete renovation of an existing, pre-WWII, single story, multi-tenant retail space into a single-tenant church. The building consists of rubble foundations, brick masonry walls, steel columns, steel girders, and wood floor joists and roof rafters.

 

Major additions to the structure consisted of an elevator with a new pit foundation, two stairwells, lateral steel moment frame, steel/wood/masonry reinforcements, steel canopy, steel roof dunnage, and a new retaining wall complete with stairs and ADA-compliant ramp. ​
